born- iowa on November 3, 1918. he is now a Hall of Fame Baseball pitcher from Van Meter, Iowa. Also known as Bob Feller, he played for the Cleveland Indians for 18 years, he had two hundred sixty-six wins with two thousand five hundred eighty one, strikeouts, he also pitched three games were none of the other team has hit-ten the ball. He shares a major league record with twelve one-hitters. Iowa proved to be a Fields of Dreams for Bob indeed.
Bob died at 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday night 2010, according to Bob DiBiasio, the Indians vice president of public relations. As a kid Bob played baseball too and when he grew up he played and when he was 92 he played for the old timers. "Every day is a new opportunity.
